Handy Man

Who knew I had such a handy husband? I've been searching for a bookcase in the shape of a boat for the boys room- I'm doing a fishing theme. Anyway, I have found several- one on ebay and one at pier 1 kids. But they were way more than I wanted to pay, especially since they will grow out of this quicker than just a normal bookcase. So I asked Travis if one of his trades could build something for us. He said probably, but then he said that he thought he could do it. I said, "okay", but in my head I'm thinking, "yeah, right and it is not going to turn out the way I want it." But Travis completely and totally proved me wrong!!! It is awesome and looks pretty much exactly like the picture I showed him. I'm so proud of him and I think it is that much more special for the boys because their sweet Daddy made it for them!

The original picture I showed him of the $300 bookcase.

Would Travis take an order for a princess crown bookcase? I pay well.

Wow Travis--you did such a great job on the bookcase! And the boys will enjoy it even more because you took the time to do it for them.

Whoa...who knew you were so multitalented? Maybe you should get mom to teach you to sew curtains and then you can be my new seamstress. You could probably learn faster than I would. All the new pics of the boys are adorable. I miss them alot. Love, Kristi
