Executive Chef

Tyler is in the stage where he wants to help with everything, which is nice when it is time to clean up toys at the end of the day. So tonight he decided that he wanted to help me make dinner. I was making some cinnamon apples for a side dish and decided he could help me pour the cinnamon and brown sugar on them. I pulled a chair up beside the counter where I was cutting the apples and let him watch. I think he ate a fourth of the apples I was cutting! Then he helped me pour the rest of the ingredients in. He still wanted to "cook" more when we were done so I let him stir some ingredients around in a bowl. He stayed up there for probably 30 minutes "cooking"! I guess I might have a little chef on my hands.

Family Pictures

A couple of weeks ago Travis' cousin, Karyn, came to town for some photo sessions and graciously offered to take our pictures. She did an amazing job and I'm going to have a hard time deciding what to order! If you are in the Kansas City area and need a great photographer give Karyn a call!
