Pooper- This is how Cooper says his name. It cracks us up. Cooper is getting so big and is developing a big personality as well. Here are some sweet pictures my Dad got of Cooper while he was in Tyler.

I'm on a boat!
Travis here with one of my rare forays into the blogging world. Tim and I took a charter out of Quepos one day and had a great time. We went about 40 miles out and ended up boating 4 sailfish and had about 10 come up in our spread. It was the first time Tim had gone billfishing and he seemed to like it. If nothing else he liked the fresh pineapple and the Imperial cerveza. We had a really good crew which was a change from a lot of the other charters I have been on.It was a great time seeing sailfish and dolphins jumping out of the water everywhere and huge manta rays cruising around. It was hot out there, but the refreshments were cold. Puro Vida!
Costa Rica
Here are some more pictures from our trip to Costa Rica! We spent most of our time at the beach, but a couple of days we stayed at the hotel and hung out at the pool. At the main beach in Quepos they have a ton of vendors lined up at the street selling jewelry, sundresses, ceramics, towels, etc. Ashley and I went one morning and found some fun stuff. Vendors will even walk the beaches trying to sell their goods which can get annoying, but it provided some great entertainment as well!
The food was somewhat interesting, but we ended up finding some good places and our favorite we hit up twice. It was more expensive than what we expected, but we were also in a very touristy area.
The guys went sail fishing one day while Ashley and I shopped and hit the spa. Travis will have to blog about their fishing trip.
Overall it was a great trip and we rank it up there with our honeymoon. It was definitely full of relaxation and no worries which is what we were craving. We definitley missed the boys, but we know they were well taken care of and definitely spoiled by my parents. Thanks mom and dad for watching the boys!!!

Me buying one of many snowcones I had at the beach. They were delicious and it was refreshing on those hot Costa Rican beaches. They would make a regular snowcone and then pour sweetened leche on top. Hmmmm!
Tim and Ashley's meal at the first restaurant we ate at. UGH!!! We quickly discovered that Costa Rican's leave the heads on fishes and the legs on shrimp. If you know me, you know this totally grossed me out!
This lady would carry this tupperware container on her head for hours yelling, "Cheeecken Empenadas!" She would start around 10:00 in the morning and wouldn't stop until late afternoon. I'm not quite sure how fresh they were and how often her tupperware container was restocked.

Canopy Tour
We FINALLY made it back home from Costa Rica today after a few mishaps in our travel plans. We missed our flight coming home on Wednesday afternoon and then got delayed by 3 hours on Thursday and finally made it back to Tyler last night around 8 to pick up the boys. We have a ton of pictures to sort through so you will be getting multiple Costa Rica posts. We had an absolutely wonderful trip- full of relaxation and a total escape from reality! Just what we needed!!! These pictures are from our trip to tour the Jungle via ziplines. Ashley and I weren't totally sure that we wanted to do this (especially since there were 7 kids at home waiting for us to come back), but the guys were sold. When we first started discussing it they told us we would be about 30-40 feet high and then once they talked to the hotel guy it increased to 60 feet. Well wouldn't you know when we get to the tour they tell us we will be 125 feet above the ground!!! I was probably the one that least enjoyed it because my harness was rubbing me in the wrong areas and it wasn't comfortable at all!!! But everyone else seemed to enjoy themselves thoroughly!
This was one of the scariest parts. There are about 15 people standing on these wood planks around a tree and then you use a tarzan swing to get across to another tree with wood planks around it.
