Tummy Time

Tyler was practicing lifting his head while on his stomach. Look at how good he is doing! We found out at the Pediatrician that Tyler has Gastroesophageal Reflux which is basically acid reflux in infants. She said it is pretty common in babies. As a result he hiccups all the time and occasionally gags and projectile vomits after eating. She said they usually outgrow it and it usually gets a lot better after they can sit up on their own. I think I made the mistake of putting him on his tummy too soon after he ate because after this tummy time he threw up all over the place. I guess I will have to be more careful with tummy time in the future.

Welcome to the wonderful world of spit up! I guess you weren't so lucky to avoid it either and will be carrying around those burp rags everywhere like me. Here's to never wearing nice clothes!

I think he totally looks like Travis, especially his profile.

as dad would say, I guess that makes him a handsome devil.

I agree totally with Christine!! His profile looks exactly like Travis' baby pics. We did the throw up thing too. You always have to warn people when they want to hold him. We offered to pay for a few dry cleaning bills after people held Cade!

Cade says Tyler...I don't want you to throw up on because I don't like getting thrown up on!! He also says that he hopes Tyler likes this email and that he wants to play Star Wars with you soon and he wants to come to your birthday party when you have one and that ya'll can eat strawberry cake together!! He also says to make sure that you're saying your prayers every night
