Hakuna Matata!

Travis and I went out on Saturday night for the first time without Tyler. We went to eat at Taste of Texas and then went to see the Lion King. It was awesome. I highly recommend the Lion King. The costumes and cast were amazing and I can't imagine how they came up with everything. We had a great time and it was so nice to be off duty for a while and just enjoy being together.

Visitors

This weekend the Johnsons were in town. We went to Sherry's house on Friday night for dinner because Great-Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Ann were in town. Tyler was the center of attention and loved every minute of it. These are pictures from that night.

Splish Splash!

Here are some pictures from bath time. Tyler likes to kick his legs and splash around in the bath. He enjoys his bath for the most part. Sometimes he just freaks out when we sit him in the bath tub.

Johnson Update

We have all been keeping busy lately. Two weeks ago, Christine came over and we shopped until we dropped! We had so much fun and Travis babysat Tyler so we could go kid-less for the day! It was wonderful. This past weekend Sarah and Tyler visited Gram and Papa in Tyler. Christine and the boys were there as well and we had a good visit. Tyler has started laughing and squealing a little bit. Gram had him laughing a lot during our visit. It is the cutest little laugh. This weekend the Johnsons are coming to visit. Grandma is going to babysit on Saturday night because we have tickets to the Lion King! I'm really looking forward to seeing it and having a night out on the town.

The house is showing often and we just got some feedback from a showing yesterday and the realtor said our house was in the top 3 for this family! That is excellent news. We think we will probably be able to sell the house fairly quickly which is very exciting. We will keep you updated!

Travis is going fishing next weekend so hopefully he will have something to post after his trip!

Tyler's New Toy!

I went bargain shopping on Ebay last week and bought Tyler a Jumperoo! It is so fun and I put him in it for the first time this morning and he loved it. Here are some pictures of him playing this morning.

100,000 and Counting

The Xterra hit 100,000 miles last week and it is still trucking along. Hopefully it will last another 4-5 years!

The Pink Panther

Travis went fishing the other day and when he got home it was raining. Since it was raining he decided to put Crockett in his kennel in the garage. Travis had a gatorade bottle with red gatorade and Crockett got to it and took it with him in the kennel. During the night he punctured the bottle and sat in red gatorade all night. This picture was taken the next morning. He still has a reddish tint to him.

3, 2, 1... Blast Off!

Some of Tyler's favorite new activites are to hold onto our hands and pull up to a sitting position and then to a standing position. He also likes to sit in our hands and be lifted up above us. We get big smiles from him when we do this. He is also starting to reach out for toys and grab them.

Have you seen my Double Chin?
