Going to Church

Today Tyler went to church for the first time. He didn't go to the nursery, he just sat with us in the worship service. He did very well, but did poop loudly during the sermon. I guess he didn't like what was being said!

Aunt Kelsey

Psycho Aunt Kelsey, otherwise known as "PAK" never let Tyler out of her sight. Tyler loves all the attention she gives him.

Cousins

The Hoover's came over on Saturday so we took a picture of all of the cousins. We had to bribe Will with stale Fruit Loops to sit on the pillow. Will is almost 3, Reese is 5 months, and Tyler was 1 week old.

Callie

Callie came to visit us last Saturday and we had a good time visiting.

Visitors

We have had lots of visitors in the past two weeks since Tyler was born. Here are some of the pictures we have taken of them while they were here. Today is our first official day by ourselves. Tyler did awesome last night. After he ate at 10 pm he slept until 3 am. I fed him then and he then slept until 6:45 am. He didn't even really fuss after his 3 am feeding which was really nice. Hopefully he will continue this pattern for awhile. It's nice only having to get up once in the night!

1st Week Check Up

Tyler had his first week check up with the pediatrician today and everything went very well. He has already passed his birth weight and now weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz. It was good to hear that everything is going well. Tyler has been a pretty easy baby so far. He is sleeping good at night and feeding well. We can't wait to watch him grow.

My Daddy is a Texas Aggie

Tyler has on a shirt that was Travis' as a baby. It says, "My Daddy is a Texas Aggie". It even has their initials on the back.

Heading home

More family pics

The family's all here

Here is everyone on Sunday after Tyler was born. We had quite a gang in the room.

The gang's all here

Early Sunday morning everyone got to see him for the first time.

The conehead is here!

Tyler showed up Saturday night just in the nic of time to be born on April 8th. He had a major conehead, but it has gone down a lot and he looks pretty normal now.

Getting ready for labor

Sarah started having contractions Staurday about 9 am. She was awesome and impressed everyone at the hospital with her good spirits including her husband. She did great. She even posed for a fake labor pain picture for us. About 4 pm, she started having lots of contractions and pain so she got an epidural and she was doing much better.

Hoovers

The Hoovers were the first ones to show up followed by the Flemings

Tyler is here!

Well, Tyler finally made his appearance Saturday night at 11:40! We just got home today at 5. Sarah and Tyler are both doing good. Here are some pictures for all of those who weren't there. Here is Sarah preparing for labor with a big ol' popsicle.

Update

I went to the doctor yesterday and I'm already dilated to a 4! Crazy, huh? I have been having Braxton Hicks contractions like crazy, so my body is definitely getting ready. If Tyler doesn't come naturally we will induce on Thursday, April 13. That is actually the day that Travis and I got engaged, so that might be kind of cool. I'm hoping he comes earlier though. Sleep is definitely scarce right now. I find myself walking around the house around 3 am some mornings because I just can't sleep. At least we know he will definitely be here in the next week! :)

Still no baby! :(

Well, today is Tyler's official due date, but he has yet to make an appearance! As of this morning I have gained about 35 pounds! Ouch!!! I go back to the doctor on Thursday. If Tyler hasn't come by Thursday we are going to schedule an induction. My doctor doesn't want me to go more than a week past my due date. I'm very thankful for that because I don't know how much longer I can make it!
